Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added benefit or additional effect when the equipment is utilized. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as rewards, or made with crafting materials. Alongside providing attribute bonuses Upgrade items also have cosmetic effects.
Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They are not generally available for general use and are only available on ascended equipment, or certain non-ascended weaponry from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, as well as enrichments can be retrieved from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device. They can also be salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
In contrast to other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded while still connected to the item they are upgrading, and they can be re-used after being reclaimed. These upgrade items are the most effective option to boost the quality of armor and weapons without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the likelihood of receiving an upgrade by two times.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and ascended equipment). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade the weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade the item will be named in the same way as it appears on the game screen (for example adding an Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor creates Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a fantastic addition to any product. They offer unique benefits and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes attached to an item, thereby increasing its overall power. These glyphs can be found through dungeons, and some can be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. It's important to note that glyphs are not available on a character that hasn't created a root dungeon with the same depth.
To use a Glyph you must first create it with components and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph with components, you can use an array of anchors and paths. Drag an element close to an element highlighted to lock it into its place.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be fulfilled, such as 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate and can be a challenge to achieve. Some glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you level it up.
Glyphs can be used on various items and weapons, except for those belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional requirements, like an amount of Dexterity damage, or attack damage in a particular portion of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the probability of preventing enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has a chance of 15%, making the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs may also be applied to limited use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs count towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are especially useful for classes with a range like Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies that hit the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to roll back one of the results when performing an Action. When the reroll happens they are discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through the dungeons, raids and skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials because they let players roll the rewards from the end chest.
For items that are at level 1, there are recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain number of points when you recycle an item. This is based on the rarity of the item and its level. Additionally, the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling and the cost of recycling an upgraded item goes up depending on its level.
Alternatively, a player can make use of reroll tokens to roll an upgrade item again however this will not return the item to its original level or give it its original statistics. This is a great option for those who wish to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.

There are official website of upgrade tokens in the game: reroll random and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example are available in three categories that are rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from its respective level in order to create an item of the same quality.
To make use of rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token you want to use. The available tokens include Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.
The item could also be upgraded to a new item that has the same stats but is at a higher level. This is likely to happen when the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or was transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
