WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades--more commonly known as "upping"--are items and enchantments that can be incorporated into weapons and armor pieces and increase their power. These upgrade item s increase the gauge of an item by a certain number of points. Their costs scale depending on their rarity.
A perfectly made version of this armor is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community due to its ability to reduce the damage caused by weapons.
Type-restricted upgrades
The process of upgrading is a vital part of the crafting process. Upgrades can be used to enhance the stats of an item or make it stronger or give it an added benefit. They can also change the appearance of an item. Some upgrades are universal, whereas others are governed by specific rules for armor and weapons. Using the wrong type of upgrade can destroy a great weapon, and may even render it ineffective.
As a rule it is possible to upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its highest-level counterpart. This means that you can upgrade body armors, helms, gloves and shields to the same level as their most elite counterparts. Weapons can be upgraded up to the equivalent of a sword. More hints doesn't increase the weapon's ability to deal damage, but can reduce its trade value.

To upgrade an item you must spend flightstones and crests. The amount of each depends on the level of the item as well as the slot. For instance, an upgrade to a sword will cost more flightstones than an upgrade to a cloak or bracers. You can also receive discounts on the number of flightstones or crests needed to upgrade an item.
The diamond-shaped indicator on the item is filled up when it's upgraded. Each step raises Tier level by one-third. The highest Tier level is Tier 3. Depending on the item it could require a different number of upgrades to get to this point. It is important to note that any procedure that could mount a disk should not be run during an upgrade. You must also make sure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as an system drive.
Enchantment allows you to transform white or Common items to blue or rare ones. It can be done at Eleanor's Enchantment Shop in the Capital District. This method does not add gem or rune slots to the equipment but it does change its size. It increases the size of equipment by the size of a creature two categories smaller, for instance, a Blaster Pistol is deemed Small, whereas a Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be utilized on any type of equipment. This includes armor, weapons and trinkets. The upgrade components are typically random drops, however they can also be gathered from completing Side Quests. Universal upgrades can be either temporary or permanent, and may overlap with Power Ups. They may also be linear or branching.
The Universal Upgrade is when "internal technologies" can provide sentient creatures new capabilities that are unlikely to acquire naturally. Examples of internal technology include implants or prostheses. This kind of improvement is not the same as medical internal technology, which aims to restore the capabilities of nature. Rather, it represents the beginning of an upgrade process that transforms civilizations in a fundamental way. The universal upgrade may be an extended and complicated process. The process can be divided in two categories one of complete success and the other of partial failure.
It's similar to the way resort upgrades are implemented at Disney and Universal. In the case of WDW, they usually happen due to operational reasons like overbooking or room availability. In the case Universal, it could be to relocate guests to another resort that is open. This is not meant as a sarcastic comment, but given the current situation, it could be difficult to avoid.
Universal upgrades can be used on any kind of equipment. They can also be applied to multiple items at once. This makes them more versatile than other types of upgrade. This can be a problem when upgrading items on a specific gear route. It can increase the level of items for all pieces on that path.
Prior to performing an upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the application files that are already in use. After that, you can install the new files using the Get-ChildItem -Recurse or Unblock-File command. It is also recommended to perform a basic validation against your PSU server to ensure that it functions properly.
Jewels
Jewels can be incorporated into armor, weapons or other items. The reagents and gems used to create them can give different stat bonuses and secondary effect. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions, V Blood Carriers and in regular enemies. They can also be bought by a Master Craftsman gold or karma. Jewels can be crafted using a table for jewelry using five of the same type of reagent and one gem to create the jewel of an upper or lower tier. This process is similar to upgrading a stone a gemcrafting desk.
Jewel tiers are determined by the number of modifiers they have which means that higher-tier jewels have more modifiers than those of lower tier. The primary effect is determined by a jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. Players can use luck potions in order to increase their chances of obtaining more beneficial secondary effects.
Jewels can also be added to objects with sockets that match, just like other upgrade components. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost power however, a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's ability to strike with force. Jewels can be put in all armor, weapon and accessory slots. They can also be used with some exotic trinkets, or trinkets of lower rarity that require a slot.
Gems are a DM-specific mechanism that helps to make items feel special to their owners. Jewels offer a variety upgrade options that allow players to customize and find the perfect combination for them. They can upgrade their equipment with new gems if they feel the existing set is no longer suitable.
Requirements
The item upgrades in WoW allows players to raise the level of their weapons, equipment and trinkets above their current item level by using specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades increase the stats of items and some also have special effects. (For instance, Dolphin's grace gives swimmers dolphin-like grace). These upgrades can be obtained by upgrading items or salvaging them. Different items drop various upgrade components.
The upgrade process can be a bit difficult however, it's not difficult. The player selects the item he wishes to upgrade, and then clicks on the Upgrade button. A window will appear showing the various upgrades available for the item. The window will show the upgrade level, the upgrade type bonus (such a Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The upgrade level is displayed in the form of a bar that is located at the top of the screen. the type bonus for upgrading is displayed below it.
If a player chooses to upgrade the item the item will be taken to the NPC who upgraded the item who will explain the procedure for upgrading the item. The player will then need to provide the appropriate currency needed for the upgrade and could be asked to provide additional materials when needed. The requirements for this are determined by the item's level. Weapons are more stringent when opposed to armor.
In addition to the necessary upgrade components, many upgrade recipes come with an acceptable materials list. This list lists the other upgrade components are available on the item, and includes a flag indicating whether that item is guaranteed to boost or extra effect. This is crucial because the value of an upgrade could differ greatly based on its "extras.' For example the gear that is perfectly rolled can be worth much more than the unupgraded version.
The list of upgrades that require valorstones or crests will be displayed separately below the main list. The crests and valorstones required depend on the level of the item that is required, with weapon upgrades requiring the most Valorstones.
